12. Project Pricing & Payment Structure

• Standard website projects typically range between $1,000–$2,000, depending on scope, features, and complexity
• A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins
• The remaining balance is due prior to website launch
• Projects will not be made live until final payment is received in full

Failure to complete payment may result in:

• Website not being delivered
• Temporary or permanent suspension of access

13. Hosting & Monthly Maintenance Services

If you are enrolled in a monthly hosting or maintenance plan:

• Services may include:
  • Website hosting
  • Security monitoring
  • Plugin/theme updates
  • Performance optimization
  • Minor content updates (as agreed)
• Monthly services are billed on a recurring basis
• Failure to make payment may result in:
  • Website suspension
  • Removal of updates/support
  • Possible website downtime

Important:

• Hosting services remain under our management unless otherwise transferred
• If services are canceled, we will provide a reasonable timeframe for migration, but we are not responsible for third-party transfer issues

14. Late Payments & Service Suspension

• Payments not received within 5–7 days of the due date may incur:
  • Late fees (optional: specify amount if you want)
  • Temporary service suspension
• Accounts that remain unpaid may result in:
  • Website being taken offline
  • Termination of ongoing services
  • Removal of website files until payment is resolved

15. Ownership & Transfer of Website

• Full ownership of the website design and content is transferred only after full payment is received
• Until paid in full:
  • The website remains the property of Connection Website Designs

If services are terminated:

• Clients may request a website transfer
• Transfer may include:
  • Website files
  • Database

Important exclusions:

• Third-party licenses (themes, plugins, stock assets) may require separate purchase
• We are not responsible for reconfiguration once transferred

16. eCommerce & Payment Integrations

For websites that include eCommerce functionality (WooCommerce, Authorize.net, etc.):

• We provide setup and integration services, including:
  • Product setup
  • Payment gateway integration
  • Basic configuration

However:

• We are not responsible for:
  • Payment processing errors
  • Bank or gateway outages
  • Transaction failures
  • Fraudulent transactions
• Clients are responsible for:
  • Maintaining compliance with payment providers
  • Managing taxes, shipping, and product accuracy
  • Securing their own merchant accounts

17. Security & Liability Disclaimer

While we implement best practices for security:

• We do not guarantee that your website will be:
  • Hack-proof
  • Virus-free
  • Immune to cyber threats

If not on a maintenance plan:

• You are fully responsible for:
  • Updates
  • Security
  • Backups

If on a maintenance plan:

• We provide preventative measures, but:
  • We are not liable for damages caused by external attacks, third-party vulnerabilities, or user error

17. Revisions & Scope of Work

• Projects include a reasonable number of revisions as agreed
• Requests beyond scope may result in:
  • Additional charges
  • Extended timelines

18. SEO & Marketing Disclaimer 

• We design websites optimized for SEO performance
• However, we do not guarantee:
  • Specific rankings
  • Traffic levels
  • Lead volume

Search engine performance depends on:

• Competition
• Market conditions
• Ongoing marketing efforts

19. Client Content Responsibility

Clients are fully responsible for:

• Accuracy of all content
• Legal rights to images, logos, and materials
• Compliance with industry regulations

We are not liable for:
